More about the Prize
Robin Cosgrove Prize invites young people, to submit written papers setting out innovative ideas to promote ethics in finance and banking.
The 2010-2011 edition
DeadlineThe final deadline for submission of entries is March 31st, 2011. The prizewinners will be announced at a special ceremony to be held in Autumn 2011.
Target public
The prize is aimed at young people, under the age of 35 (born after 1 April 1976). Contributions from more than one author are eligible on condition that all the authors meet the age criteria.
Register your expression of interest
If you are interested in participating in the Robin Cosgrove Prize, please complete the "expression of interest" form.
This registration will not commit you. It would help the organizers arrange the details of the Prize.
Your expression of interest is compulsory if you wish to submit an entry to the Robin Cosgrove Prize and to receive formal information (rules, application form, etc.) from the organizers.
Length
The jury is expecting a forward-looking paper of between minimum of 3,000 and maximum of 5,000 words (30,000 characters including blank spaces and annexes).
Copyright
Papers must not have been published previously and they should be copyright free. Authors will grant the possibility to publish the papers in "Finance & the Common Good / Bien Commun", the regular bulletin of the Observatoire, or elsewhere.
Languages
Final papers must be submitted in English or French. However, if the text was originally written in another language and was translated into English or French, applicants may also send the original version.

Anonymity
Texts have to be anonymously presented to the Jury. Authors' name do not appear on them, but candidates should indicate an acronym as a signature. The same acronym is found on the official application form, with name, age, etc. Only the Prize Administrator will have access to these documents.
Format
Papers should be submitted in a WORD® format. Applicants are invited to download a template (see below) in order to format their texts in a common format, and stick to the rules that would be sent to registered candidates.
